What does the Bible say about abortion?

The other ugly side of abortion...

How you can fight abortion!

Abortions:
Should we strive for there to be more or less of them?

If you are Pro-Choice, consider this:
If it is desirable for women to have full and complete access to abortion services, and if a woman should have the choice to do whatever she wants to do with her pregnancy, then...

1) Should we hope that more women choose abortion this year, or should we hope for less abortions?
2) Should we give full informed consent before an abortion procedure and accurately define the risks to mom and fetus before the procedure, even if the woman might choose to NOT have the abortion? click here for more on this
3) Should we say, "You have the right to choose, and I hope you choose to give your baby for adoption rather than abort the fetus"?---Is that a good thing to say to a woman?
4) Should we say, "You have the right to choose, and I really don't care what choice you make"?
5) Should we say, "You have the right to choose, and I hope that you choose to abort your baby."?
6) Should we encourage women to choose adoption, although making it clear to them that they can still choose abortion?---Is it OK for us to encourage adoption?
7) Should we encourage women who desire an abortion for social reasons [93% of women fall into this category] to consider other options, and be more relaxed on the women who consider abortion for rape or health problems [only 7% of women fall into this category]?
8) Should we consider making abortion illegal for social reasons, but legal for serious medical reasons? Would that be a bad thing to do?
9) In general, should we as people be happy if abortion rates go down, or should we be sad or indifferent?

If you are Pro-Life, consider this:
If you consider all life to be valuable in God's sight, then...

1) Should we do anything about the >1.3 million babies that are being killed every year in America?
2) Should we preach against abortion in our churches more?
3) Should we be active in trying to decrease or halt abortions in our country?
4) Should we ignore the issue?
5) Should we buy goods and support companies that give money to abortion providers? | see "How you can fight abortion"
6) Should we pray to Jesus, asking Him to end abortion in America?
7) Should we be "OK" with women who have been raped having an abortion?
8) Should we be "OK" with women who are pregnant with 5 or 6 babies "selectively reducing" a few of them? Does it matter if they got pregnant with 5 or 6 babies naturally or through fertility treatments?
9) Should we be "OK" with the "morning after pill", RU-486, and other forms of chemical abortions?
What will we do about it?
10) Should we show the world pictures of aborted babies so that they can see with their own eyes what they are saying women and 'doctors' should be allowed to do?

Thoughts to consider:
"Some choices are just wrong"
"Two wrongs don't make a right"
"Abortion stops a beating heart"
"Abortion: 'The Final Solution'"
"The generation that aborted its young will be euthanized by the young they failed to abort"
