Holiday World / Splashin' Safari
Labor Day Weekend 2003

We stayed at Santa's lodge just a block away from Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. For more information on Holiday World, and directions, go to www.holidayworld.com

We arrived Sunday at about 1 PM. And first went to.....

But this is the only picture I have of that day since I didn't want to take my digital camera on the waterslides!!! But they did have GREAT slides and it is VERY family oriented.
They provided free sunscreen, free unlimited drinks, and free parking. And park admission was very reasonable. A family of four [that's us!] costs $120 for two days. That $15 per person per day! Not bad! And the food prices were very affordable, too.

Monday [Labor Day] We went to the Holiday World park. All these Santa photos were taken for my friend who just LOVES Santa!!! :o) :o) :o) :o)

A MUST SEE VIDEO!

In this movie clip, Corbin and I are on a bumper car trying to chase Misha to bump into her [you can see her in the video getting farther away from us], but instead of going forward, the car goes backwards.I was trying to work the car and the camera at the same time and I kept going backwards. Meanwhile a car behind us was going full throttle to hit us. In the middle of the video you see the image fly around since the camera went flying out of my hands. You can hear me grunt when the car hit us. And Corbin seems unphased and says, "Whoa!".

Watch this movie of the spinning bird ride!
I can't handle these kinds of rides,
so Misha and the kids did it and I taped it!

We really wore the kids out!!! :o) :o) :o)

Back at Santa's Lodge, we had the pool all to ourselves!!
Holiday World is a great place for families with young children. You might want to try it!!
