Wednesday August 13th, 2003 at the Indiana State Fair

The horses were beautiful AND strong at the horse pull

The kids got to pet the horses.
We learned a lot about horses. The most amazing thing for me was to see their personalities. These horses were athletes that really prepared for each pull and were excited [and some were nervous] about it. You could see the dissappointment in a horse's eyes when they were unable to pull the sled. Some were very zealous and pulled beyond the 27.5 feet required to continue to the next round.
The final [5th] round had four pairs of horses. The load was 8,250 pounds. None of the four pairs were able to pull that weight the full 27.5 feet, so the winner was chosen based upon the distance that the sled was pulled.
Jesus is truly the Creator. He is Creative. These animals speak to the glory of their Creator. It was enjoyable to watch the Power, Beauty, and Personality in these horses.

It wouldn't be the fair without cotton candy!!
