How I got my name

My Dad and Mom heard my name when then watched a Star Trek, the Next Generation episode called "The Inner Light". Here are some facts about the show:

The story is about Captain Picard collapsing on the deck of the Enterprise after coming in contact with an unknown probe. The probe seems to affect his mind and he lives an entire life on a distant planet in the space of 20 minutes while he is on the floor of the Enterprise.

While he is on this planet, he finds that he is married to a woman named Eleen. She is a kind woman, and a loving housewife. After initial objections, Picard [called Kamin now!] falls in love with Eleen and they have children and grandchildren.

My Dad and Mom said that they chose the name Eleen because she was a sweet, kind, humble, and simple loving housewife who valued her husband and her children.

Apparently Star Trek spelled the ladies' name "Eline", but Dad and Mom chose "Eleen"
