How to answer a Jehovah's Witness

A message with love from EadsHome Ministries
to Jehovah's Witnesses

If you are a Jehovah's Witness, we first want to thank you for visiting EadsHome Ministries! We care for you and love you! You are an image-bearer of God, therefore, you deserve our utmost respect and love. We want you to know that we pray for you and sincerely wish God's greatest blessings in your life. It is our love for Jesus and our love for you that has led us to dedicating part of our web ministry to the Witnesses.

We have been contacted by some who have taken offense at the materials presented on this site. It is our desire to present the truths of Scripture in a way that is clear and understandable. Jesus Himself said that "the truth will set you free." [John 8:32] We hope and pray that as you read the truths presented here that you will allow the truth to set you free.

We have specifically constructed our site to help evangelical Christians who are not Witnesses to answer you when you approach them, or when you both meet in your daily lives. Many evangelical Christians know what they believe, but are unprepared to specifically answer you when approached. We believe that truth is very freeing, and as such we seek to equip evangelical Christians with this truth with the ultimate purpose of reaching you for Christ. Basically this site is dedicated with love to you!

Some who read this will be offended at our statement that the beliefs of the Witnesses are not truth. You may have grown up in a very nice, Witness family. You may have come to the Kingdom Hall through a friend. You may even be a leader in the Kingdom Hall itself. The idea that you believe a lie is quite offensive to you. We understand. Please do not let your offense deter you from sincerely exploring the truths presented here. Your eternal destiny depends upon it!

Many would say that it is not very loving of us to "attack" Jehovah's Witnesses, or say that our religion is "better than yours". Let us say that in no way do we intend to make ourselves out to be better than you, nor do we intend to attack you personally. We do, however, intend to demolish strongholds [2 Corinthians 10:4]. A stronghold is any belief that is not consistent with the truths of Scripture. It would not be very loving of us to know the truth and yet hold it back from you, would it? Suppose you were canoeing down a river and were unknowingly approaching a dangerous waterfall. Would it be more loving of us to remain silent from the shoreline, or to cry out to you to warn you of the danger ahead?

Please know that we care for you deeply. Please also know that Jesus cares for you deeply. Turn to Him in faith, embrace the Truth, repent, and follow Him. If you have any questions, or want to just talk, please email us!
